Potential budget cuts since 2010-2011 and their projected impact for 2012-2013 (as of June 6, 2012):
Abington School District - $742,917
Bensalem Township School District - $2,671,081
• Over the last four years, state revenue for all programs other than retirement has dropped $2.65 million or 11 percent.
Bristol Borough School District - $851, 259
School District of Bristol Township - $3,659,003
• Much-needed improvements in technology and building maintenance have been delayed
• For the third year in a row, spending for co-curricular (complementary civic or service activities) has been reduced
• District will furlough 11 teachers; four retiring teachers positions will not be re-filled
• Proposed school property tax hike of 2.1 percent
• Proposed transportation change includes consolidating bus stops, using elementary schools as bus stops for middle- and high-school students, mixing public and non-public students on certain buses, eliminating late buses for some after school events
Centennial School District - $1,103,235
Central Bucks School District - $2,430,033
• Larger class sizes
• Reductions in graduation requirements for physical education
• Potential cuts in graduation requirements in the areas of Business Education, Family and Consumer Sciences and other special subjects
• German cuts in middle school
• Will lay off up to 44 bus drivers, eventually phasing out the remainder of the transportation staff over the next four to five years

• Elimination of all school nurses
• Consideration of combining elementary schools and eliminating another middle school
• Potential cuts in music and art (with those classes established as electives at the high school) level
• Elimination of after school clubs
• A potential end to “in-school suspension”
