The Robotics Team from Wissahickon High School has a lot to be proud of after a great finish in the 2012 FIRST Robotics Competition World Championship. Team #341’s, “Miss Daisy” was founded in 2000, and each year new high school students continue to improve the robotic technology. At the most recent world championship, Team #341 walked away with a competition medal that was awarded to only 24 teams out of a field of 2,400 competitors. Miss Daisy was also first in its division as it won eight matches and lost only one. Throughout the 2011-2012 school year, Team #341 was ranked as the number one seed five times in a row.
