Benjamin Curlee, a Sophomore at North Penn High School, makes us proud! He was one of only six students in the world to earn a perfect score for his performance on the Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science Principles Exam in May 2017.
Benjamin is among 511 students worldwide who earned every point possible in 23 of the 37 AP exams by answering every multiple-choice question correctly and earning full points on the free-response question.
The College Board’s AP Program enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement or both, while still in high school. Through AP courses in 38 subjects, each culminating in a rigorous exam, students learn to examine texts, interpret data, evaluate evidence, construct solid arguments and see multiple sides of an issue — skills and knowledge that prepare them for college and beyond.
