Recently released 2015 SAT scores placed 17 of the top 100 Pennsylvania high schools in Bucks and Montgomery counties and nearly two-thirds of all CAPS schools in the top tier. Leading the way in Bucks County was Council Rock North, which placed ninth in the state (from a total of 650 high schools), and Central Bucks East, coming in at number 13. In Montgomery County, Upper Dublin ranked number 15 and Lower Moreland ranked number 22.

Composite scores at Council Rock North High School were 1735. All area schools in the Top 100 placed well over the average test score of 1500, as identified by the National Center for Education Statistics. The tests measure critical reading, math, and writing skills and are intended to predict how well students will do in college.
